Ross Taylor

Ross only recently joined Upper Hutt Musical Theatre (UHMT) in 2018, after having moved to Upper Hutt earlier that year. His first show with UHMT was Into the Woods.

Growing up Ross was heavily involved in music, learning his first instrument, the recorder, from age 4. He later moved on to learning the saxophone, dabbling with the piano, and doing a bit of singing. Ross has always enjoyed using his music skills with others, and as such he’s been involved in choirs, concerts and jazz bands. Alongside this, he’s also had an interest in being on the stage. Ross has been involved in various types of theatre, including short plays, pantomimes and musicals.

Outside of musical theatre Ross makes the regular commute into Wellington City to work as a policy advisor for the Government.

He looks forward to continuing to be involved with UHMT as part of the committee to help produce fantastic future shows.
